i was wondering if i'll ever have the gut (and persistency) to convince Syg to say, skip majlis pertunangan, and we do majlis merisik instead. wedding gonna be a family thing and decision, so i want the engagement to be about us. in so much way, merisik is less hassle and can i just say that the idea of the man himself utter 'will you marry me?' is manly, romantic and sweet? i swear ok, for the rest of our marriage, he will be getting free passes for his each and every mistake! (appropriate disclaimer will be included in the future... haha).

in the next meet-up with the girls, we will be stuffing ourselves with dessert or sipping coffee at our favourite joint and then. just then, when i can no longer hold the news myself, i'd do the look-at-the-ring gesture and scream 'i'm engaged!! he proposed last night!'
